Zhuhai, China – July 2, 2007. High-profile officials, celebrities and entrepreneurs from the aftermarket printer consumables industry gathered and gave generously at the Remax Gala Charity Night which was held on June 27th, 2007 in Zhuhai International Conference Center Hotel for raising fund for poor leukemia children in China.

The charity night, organized by Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) and Recycler Publishing and Events (China) Ltd and solely sponsored by Ninestar, at last raised more than 1890000 RMB to Ninestar Angel of Love Fund, a sub-fund of CRCF specializing on helping poor leukemia children in China. The party included songs and dances by local well-known actors, a buffet dinner and an auction with 11 photographs donated by 5 Chinese famous photographers.

At the charity night, secretary-general of CRCF Mr. Wang Rupeng formally announced the set-up of Ninestar Angel of Love Fund and highly praised Ninestar’s almsdeed and corporate responsibility, and called for more enterprises, institutions and individuals from home and abroad to offer a hand to the poor leukemia-stricken children.

The charity auction of the 11 photographs on the night raised 471000 RMB. The highest bid of the night went to a photograph donated by a famous photographer Bian Yuan, which sold for 150000 RMB and was acquired by Mr. Lu Rusong, Ninestar’s board chairman.

Zhu Yaling, a twelve-aged girl suffering from leukemia, was invited to the charity night. The hardship of raising money for treatment and her courage of fighting against the diseases moved all the attendant. Ninestar Love of Angel Fund Committee donated 30000 RMB for her further treatment and will donate more if necessary.
